A lot of people think that bigger dogs like dobermans shouldn’t be anywhere near small children. But that’s totally not fair at all.
Dobermans are very smart and energetic dogs that do need plenty of exercise and attention… but that doesn’t mean that they’re dangerous! As long as a dog gets plenty of love and proper training, you should feel totally at ease giving your small baby some supervised playtime with the family dog. As long as you know and trust your dog and can read his mood, he or she would probably like to spend time with your little one as much as your child wants to play with the dog.
Introducing children to pets at a young age teaches them that it’s incredibly important to treat animals with as much care and respect as other humans. They are, after all, members of the family.
When this little boy comes up to say hello to the family dog, the dobie seems to be a little preoccupied with something else… almost definitely food. But this baby? He’s trying to clock some quality time with his canine pal.
All this little boy wants? Just one kiss. That’s all! The pup? All he’s got on his mind at this moment is whatever meal his humans are preparing off screen.
Make sure you catch what this distracted pup does at :17… too cute!
