High School Running Team Takes Lonely Shelter Dogs For An Exciting Morning Run

In California, the St. Joseph Athletics cross country running team ran with the big dogs! Well, not all the dogs were big and, okay… a couple of the dogs weren’t running – but they were dogs! The team got dogs from the local animal shelter and took them on a morning run! Each of the teens was paired up with a dog for the short run.

Everyone had a blast! It is hard to tell who was having more fun, the dogs or the kids! Although, it looked like some of the kids had to hang on tight as their dog ran with reckless abandon! Coach Luis Escobar was the man behind the camera. As you will see, the last two dogs ran out of steam by the end.

Little Fred had given out some time ago and ended up being carried! Not everyone likes to get up and workout first thing in the morning! Share away, people!
